Obama, the best Republican in years

In November, well months before that, we started hearing about how the economy was affected, and we continued to hear that the "trickle down effect" was flawed and we needed to fix it. And how? We decided that as a nation, that we should elect a President that would look after the small business, middle class, and work on ensuring people had jobs, and start at the American worker, and the chain would make everyone working, and then have management working, and in turn, have executives working again. Well, I am starting to think that this adminatration pulled our legs. Under Obama, we have determined that we should bail out the big banks, the big auto industry, and the big insurance industry. I don't know, but as I see it, CHANGE, is not Change, nothing has changed, not until the American people takes pride in our work again, get off our high horse of well educated, and better than that attitude, and take responsiblity for what we have done to the economy, Bush did not do this by his self, we did, the people with a 65,000 combined income living way over there means, because the bank said I could. Remember folks, no one, I mean no one held a gun to your head to sign papers of something you could not afford. Face it, the salesman had control of this sell.

Texas Police Officer Delayed NFL Player While Mother-In-Law Died

As you might have heard in the national news, Ryan Moats of the Houston Texans was detained by Police Officer Robert Powell on March 26th. Moats was pulled over by the officer for rolling through a stop sign heading to the hospital.
So I keep reading about the death threats and a lot of people saying the officer was wrong for detaining Moats as he pleads with the officer that his mother in law is dying in the hospital. I have to side with the officer in this case.
While being an officer of the law at one time of my life, the officer was doing his job. How many times does an officer hear bull crap plea’s to get out of a ticket or a traffic stop? I bet way too many. Officers are charged with protecting us, the citizen and to enforce laws that our elected officials believe are for the well being of the greater public.
Traffic stops usually take about 10 min of your time if you comply with the officer, all Moats had to do was provide a valid license, and valid registration, and a valid insurance card and he could have been on his way.
After watching the in dash camera, Moats did all he could to ignore and to not comply with the officer. Pleading his case, which officers hear all the time, the officer stood to his standards and did his job.
So, after the media gets this info, all of a sudden, Officer Roberts is a bad guy, and a terrible police officer. For what; doing his job. I am deeply sorry for Moats mother in law and family, maybe he should had observed and obeyed the stop sign and he would have been in the hospital and seen his mother in law prior to her death.
Now, Officer Roberts is on leave with pay pending investigation. Why? He did his job people. We the people would have been very upset if Moats ran the stop sign as he did and killed a family of 4. We would have said, “Where are the police”. We would have said, “It would only take him 5 more seconds to reach is destination.
Public apology by the officer (which he did), give me a break, give the guy a medal, and put him back to work.
